About Arcadia (NSW)
Arcadia is a semi-rural suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, located 42 kilometres north-west of the CBD in Hornsby Shire. On the traditional land of the Dharug people, the area was originally known as Galston Heights before being renamed Arcadia after the Greek region. Known as Sydney's early "fruit bowl" for its orchards, it now features hobby farms, nurseries, and acreage properties, along with Arcadia Park and a Benedictine monastery.
