About Wildes Meadow
Wildes Meadow is a locality in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, in Wingecarribee Shire, about 7 km south-west of Robertson. The area was opened to free selection under the Robertson Land Act of 1861, with early farms and a Protestant Hall dating from the 1860s. The village had a School of Arts hall and a war memorial, and is surrounded by elevated farmland.
