St George is a small, sparsely settled rural locality in the Shoalhaven local government area of New South Wales, about 160 kilometres south of Sydney. It lies in the district's western hinterland, in the ranges that step down from the Southern Tablelands toward the South Coast, and is farming country with no established township.
