About Meryla

Meryla is a locality at the western end of Kangaroo Valley in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, in Wingecarribee Shire. In 1818, Aboriginal guides led the explorer Dr Charles Throsby and his party down the steep Meryla Pass into the valley. Much of the locality is now Meryla Flora Reserve, state forest or Morton National Park.
