About Longreach (NSW)
Longreach is a small rural locality in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, about 10 km west of Nowra on the eastern bank of the Shoalhaven River. It is dairying country; the locality is home to Wogamia Farm, a historic property granted in the 1830s whose sandstone homestead was built in the early 1850s. The 277-hectare Wogamia Nature Reserve, created in 2001, protects remnant bushland nearby.
