About Budawang
Budawang is a rural locality in the Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, in the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area, about 210 kilometres south of Sydney. The locality lies on the western side of the Budawang Range near Mongarlowe, adjacent to the Budawang National Park wilderness area. The name derives from Mount Budawang, whose name is a variation of the Aboriginal word 'Buddawong'.
