About Hanwood
Hanwood is a town in the central Riverina region of New South Wales, located 5 kilometres south of Griffith and in the City of Griffith local government area. It is known for its wineries, most notably the McWilliam's winery established in 1913, whose cellar door features the Big Wine Barrel completed in 1973 and a museum displaying a collection of wines, bottles and memorabilia. The Hanwood Post Office opened in 1921.
