About Woodlawn
Woodlawn is a rural locality in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, in the City of Lismore about eight kilometres north-east of Lismore, near the village of Bexhill. The name describes the area's history: once covered in thick jungle, known to early European settlers as Calico Grass, it has since been cleared for farming. Today the locality is a quiet area of small farms and subtropical countryside.
