About Hayters Hill

Hayters Hill is a small rural locality in the Byron Shire of New South Wales, about 5 kilometres south-west of Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers region. Named after the Hayter family who settled there in the 1880s, it includes the Hayters Hill Nature Reserve, an 8-hectare remnant of the once extensive Big Scrub rainforest.
