About Eviron
Eviron is a small rural locality in the Tweed Shire of the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, about 22 kilometres south-west of Tweed Heads. Settlers cleared the fertile Tweed Valley for banana plantations and dairy farms from the late 19th century, and the locality today combines farmland, natural ridgelines and the council-operated Eviron Road quarry and landfill site.
