About Casino
Casino is a town on the banks of the Richmond River in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, at the junction of the Bruxner Highway and the Summerland Way, about 726 km north of Sydney. The district is known as the 'Beef Capital of Australia', and the town hosts the annual Casino Beef Week, one of the country's premier pastoral festivals. Its streets, particularly Walker and Barker, retain many well-preserved Victorian and Art Deco buildings.
