About Bungabbee

Bungabbee is a rural locality in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, lying between Lismore and Casino. The name also applies to the 955-hectare Bungabbee State Forest, about 15 kilometres north-east of Casino, which contains Bungabbee Nature Reserve, a protected area created in 1999 that is home to the endangered native jute plant. A railway station at Bungabbee once served the Lismore-Casino line.
