About Bottle Creek

Bottle Creek is a small rural locality in the Richmond Valley of northern New South Wales, within the Kyogle Local Government Area. The area covers gently undulating hill country on the upper reaches of the Clarence River, with remnant tall river oak, rainforest and dry sclerophyll forest along Bottle Creek and through Bonalbo State Forest. Dairy farming was the primary activity from the early 1900s before transitioning to beef cattle grazing, and the Githabul people are the traditional custodians of the land.
