About Parraweena

Parraweena is a rural farming locality on the Liverpool Plains of northern New South Wales, about 35 kilometres west-south-west of Quirindi in the Liverpool Plains Shire, on the traditional lands of the Gamilaraay people. The district lies near Black Creek, a tributary of the Mooki River, and is given over to grazing and cropping on the fertile black-soil plains typical of the area.
