About Coomoo Coomoo
Coomoo Coomoo is a locality on the black-soil plains of the Liverpool Plains in New South Wales, near Gunnedah and about 273 kilometres north-west of Sydney. It lies on the traditional country of the Gamilaroi people. Pastoral runs were established here from the 1820s, and selectors took up land under the Robertson Land Acts in the 1860s. The area is used for grazing and dryland cropping.
