About Wandook

Wandook is a rural locality in the Edward River Council area of the Riverina in New South Wales, located about 30 kilometres from Deniliquin and 465 kilometres from Sydney. The landscape features flat pastoral plains typical of the southern Riverina with a dry climate, supporting sheep grazing and dryland cropping. Part of one of Australia's most productive agricultural regions, the Riverina produces wheat, barley, canola, rice, citrus, and wine grapes, with Deniliquin serving as the historical heart of the region's wool industry.
