About Woko
Woko is a rural locality in the Mid-Coast Council area of New South Wales, in rugged forested country along the Manning River near Gloucester. Woko National Park, a steep landscape of dry rainforest and eucalypt forest, lies close by; 'Woko' is thought to be the local Aboriginal name for the boobook owl.
