Whoota is a small coastal-hinterland locality on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, situated near the southern gateway of Wallingat National Park within the MidCoast Council area. The locality is surrounded by eucalypt forests, rolling hills and valley views, with the iconic Whoota Whoota Lookout offering panoramic views across Wallingat National Park, Wallis Lake and the distant coastline.
