South Arm is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Nambucca Valley hinterland on the Mid North Coast, approximately 25 kilometres west of Macksville and around 450 kilometres north of Sydney. The landscape is defined by the South Arm Creek, a tributary of the Nambucca River, and surrounding regenerating bushland on Gumbaynggirr Country.
