About Rollands Plains

Rollands Plains is a village and rural locality in the Port Macquarie-Hastings area, about 20 kilometres west of Port Macquarie. Named after Captain John Rolland, Commandant of the Port Macquarie penal settlement who selected the plains for agriculture in 1824, the Wilson River dominates the landscape and dairy farming is the primary industry.
