About Red Head
Red Head is a quiet coastal locality in the Mid-Coast region of New South Wales, located about 25 to 30 kilometres north of Forster-Tuncurry on the Pacific Ocean. Named for its distinctive reddish-brown headland at the northern end of Black Head Beach, the area features the Red Head Rainforest Walk through rare littoral rainforest and a Koala Corridor with raised walkway. The surrounding Hallidays Point area is known for its peaceful beaches, coastal rock formations and whale watching during migration season.
