About Kerewong
Kerewong is a forested rural locality in the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, in the Port Macquarie-Hastings area between Taree and Kempsey. Much of it is covered by the 4,020-hectare Kerewong State Forest of tall eucalyptus and rainforest gullies, which supports koalas and the greater glider, and the Swans Crossing camping ground lies alongside Upsalls Creek within the forest.
