About Jones Island
Jones Island is a small riverside locality in the Manning Valley on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, situated about 5 kilometres north of Taree within the MidCoast Council area. Rich alluvial soils along the Manning River floodplain have supported generations of dairy and grazing families. The Pacific Highway borders the locality, giving residents straightforward access to Taree's shops, schools and healthcare, while nearby beaches at Harrington, Crowdy Head and Old Bar are within easy reach.
