About Dumaresq Island
Dumaresq Island is a small river peninsula in the Manning Valley, about 8 kilometres south-east of Taree. Despite its name it is not a true island but a low-lying tract partly bounded by the Manning River, with properties offering river frontage and views toward the iconic Martin Bridge. The area supports livestock grazing and mixed farming, and sits within easy reach of Taree's services and the coast at Harrington.
