About Tilligerry Creek
Tilligerry Creek is a locality in the Port Stephens Council area in the Hunter region of New South Wales, covering the creek and estuary that separate the Tomaree and Tilligerry peninsulas as they flow into Port Stephens. Most of the locality is waterway within the Port Stephens Great Lakes Marine Park, and its name comes from the Worimi word for a peninsula or tongue.
