About Martindale
Martindale is a remote rural locality in the Upper Hunter region of New South Wales, about 25 kilometres south-east of Merriwa in a picturesque valley of rolling hills and pastoral country. The Hunter River and Goulburn River both flow through or near the locality, and the surrounding landscape supports cattle grazing and horse properties typical of the Upper Hunter hinterland. Mount Monundilla is a notable peak within the locality, and Martindale Creek runs through the valley.
