About Mangoola
Mangoola is a rural locality in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, located about 20 kilometres west of Muswellbrook and 10 kilometres north of Denman. The area is dominated by the Mangoola Coal Mine, an open-cut operation owned by Glencore, and sits within a landscape of wide valley floors, sandstone escarpments and eucalypt woodland typical of the Upper Hunter.
