About Sunset Strip (NSW)
Sunset Strip is a small holiday village on the shore of Lake Menindee, part of the Menindee Lakes system, about 20 kilometres north of Menindee in far western New South Wales. It is an informal community of mostly modest holiday homes along the waterfront, with well-irrigated gardens, serving as an inland retreat for residents of Broken Hill. The Menindee Lakes lie on the traditional lands of the Barkindji people, and the lakes and the nearby Darling River are known for some of the best freshwater fishing in New South Wales.
