About Kulwin (NSW)
Kulwin is a very sparsely populated rural locality in Cobar Shire in the far west of New South Wales, on semi-arid country more than 100 kilometres from the mining town of Cobar. The historic Wool Track, the road route between Balranald and Cobar, traverses the locality. The surrounding land is used for broad-acre grazing.
