About The Pinnacles
The Pinnacles is a small rural locality in the Clarence Valley of northern New South Wales, situated near the town of Maclean approximately 45 kilometres south-east of Grafton. The area draws its name from a striking sandstone rock formation near Maclean, regarded as a significant cultural heritage site by the Yaegl Aboriginal people, with viewing platforms overlooking the Clarence River.
