About Sapphire Beach

Sapphire Beach is a coastal locality in the Coffs Harbour City Council area of New South Wales, located nine kilometres north of the Coffs Harbour CBD. Named for its sapphire-blue waters, the suburb features a 2.4 kilometre beach trending south-south-west from Green Bluff to White Bluff, with Split Solitary Island lying 2.5 kilometres offshore within the Solitary Islands Marine Park. The White Bluff Walking Track and littoral rainforest at White Bluff Headland provide natural attractions. Sapphire Beach was voted one of the most liveable places in the world at the 2002 UN Bloom Awards.
