About Heifer Station

Heifer Station is a broad rural locality on the Clarence River, about 50 km north-west of Grafton in northern New South Wales, near the Clarence River Gorge. It is named after a large cattle holding owned by the family of former prime minister Sir Earle Page since 1923, and the district remains sparsely settled grazing country.
