About Yarrawonga (NSW)
Yarrawonga is a rural locality in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, about 10 kilometres north of Mudgee within the Mid-Western Regional Council area. The locality shares its name with the better-known Victorian town on the Murray River but is a distinct farming community amid rolling agricultural land. King Johns Creek winds through the area and residents rely on Mudgee for services, schools and the town's renowned wine region.
