About State Mine Gully

State Mine Gully is a locality on the northern outskirts of Lithgow in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. It is the site of the former Lithgow State Coal Mine, which closed in 1964 and is now the Lithgow State Mine Heritage Park and Railway, a museum of the western coalfield's mining history.
