About Spring Hill (Orange - NSW)
Spring Hill is a small village 13 km south-east of Orange, New South Wales, whose buildings date back to the 1870s and around which a Heritage Trail has been established. Following the failure of efforts to have a government branch line built, the Hoskins company constructed a private railway from the Cadia mines to the Great Western Railway here, in use until 1945.
