About Ooma
Ooma is a small rural locality in the Forbes Shire Council area of New South Wales, about 22 kilometres south-east of Forbes in the Lachlan Valley. The landscape consists of flat to gently undulating agricultural land with fertile heavy soils suited to broadacre cropping of wheat, barley and canola, complemented by sheep and cattle grazing. Ooma Creek flows through the locality within the Lachlan River catchment, and the area is part of Wiradjuri Country.
