About Kirkconnell
Kirkconnell is a small rural locality in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, located about 30 kilometres east of Bathurst within the Sunny Corner State Forest. The area is best known as the site of Kirkconnell Correctional Centre, a minimum-security facility that has operated in the forest since 1958.
