Kandos is a rural town located within the Mid-Western Region in New South Wales, Australia. The area is the traditional home of the Dabee tribe of the Wiradjuri people. Kandos sits beneath a mountain range which includes Cumber Melon Mountain (also referred to as 'Rocky').
