About Cudgegong

Cudgegong is a rural locality in New South Wales' Central West, situated in the Cudgegong River valley within the Mudgee wine region. The original village of Cudgegong was submerged beneath Windamere Dam in the 1980s, and the name now applies to the surrounding farmland and grazing country. The area sits within one of NSW's premier wine destinations, with Mudgee's cellar doors, farm stays and artisan food producers a short drive away.
