About Bland

Bland is a rural locality in the Riverina region of New South Wales, within the Bland Shire and situated near West Wyalong. The area is dominated by broad-acre cereal cropping, canola farming and sheep grazing on gently undulating pastoral land. The district has a gold mining heritage, with West Wyalong growing from a gold rush in the 1890s, and today serves as an agricultural hub on the Newell and Mid-Western highways.
