About Bensville
Bensville is a residential suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, located 17 kilometres south-south-east of Gosford and 89 kilometres north-north-east of Sydney. Named after pioneer Benjamin Davis, who started a shipbuilding business around 1850 and owned 1,000 acres, the main section is centred on Kallaroo Road with a small park, cafe, general store and hairdressers. A small wharf at the end of Kallaroo Road is a popular local fishing spot. The suburb had a population of 2,545 at the 2016 census.
