About Bateau Bay
Bateau Bay is a residential coastal suburb about 6 km south of The Entrance. The area features Bateau Bay Beach and Crackneck Point, a headland known for surfing and whale watching during the humpback migration. The southern section of Wyrrabalong National Park covers part of the suburb, protecting coastal cliffs, rock platforms and wildlife including goannas and tawny frogmouths.
