About Nungatta South
Nungatta South is a small rural locality in the Bega Valley Shire of New South Wales, near the Victorian border south-east of Bombala. The area formed part of Nungatta Station, a sheep and cattle run established around 1840 on Nungatta Creek, a tributary of the Genoa River, which was later broken up for closer settlement. Today the locality is sparsely settled grazing country adjoining the South East Forest National Park.
