About North Batemans Bay
North Batemans Bay is a coastal suburb on the north bank of the Clyde River estuary in Eurobodalla Shire, about 5 km north of the Batemans Bay town centre on the New South Wales South Coast. Settlement of the bay began in the 1830s with timber cutters and fishermen, and oyster farming on the Clyde has continued since the 1860s. The new Clyde River bridge, opened in 2021, links the suburb directly to Batemans Bay.
