About Mila

Mila is a rural locality in the Snowy Monaro area of New South Wales, of high tablelands grazing land on the Monaro at an elevation of around 760 metres. The landscape consists of open grasslands and scattered eucalypt woodland drained by Saucy Creek and Dundundra Creek, with Merino wool, prime lambs and beef cattle grazing underpinning the local economy. Cooma is the nearest service centre about 30 kilometres away, and the Mila Landcare Group has been active in weed control and riparian restoration since 1994.
