About Dalmeny

Dalmeny is a coastal town about 7 km north of Narooma on the south coast of New South Wales, built on headlands overlooking the Tasman Sea, with the coastal lagoon of Lake Mummuga to the north. It was established as the Dalmeny Estate in 1880 by William Edye Mort, who named it for his English school friend Lord Dalmeny. The lifeguard-patrolled Brou Beach, part of Eurobodalla National Park, fronts the town, which has a central camping ground and walking and cycling paths, and is served by the nearby Yabbara Beach for surfing.
