About Cambalong

Cambalong is a rural locality on the Monaro plateau of south-eastern New South Wales, near Bombala. It takes its name from the Cambalong pastoral run, one of the earliest stations in the district, occupied in the 1830s and successively held by squatters including Benjamin Boyd and the Campbell family, who owned the estate for generations. The locality lies along the Bombala River and is grazing country.
