About Evatt
Evatt (/ˈɛvət/) is a suburb in the Belconnen district of Canberra, located within the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Evatt lies between the suburbs of McKellar, Belconnen, Florey, Melba and Spence. The suburb is named after Herbert Vere Evatt (1894–1965), a Justice of the High Court and Leader of the Opposition in the 1950s.
