About Quindanning
Quindanning is a small town on the Williams River in Western Australia, about halfway between Boddington and Williams on the Pinjarra–Williams Road. The name comes from Quindanning Pool on the river, recorded in 1835. Agricultural settlement began in the 1830s, and a townsite was surveyed and gazetted in 1907 around an existing school and racecourse. The Quindanning Hotel (c. 1900) and a stone Anglican church consecrated in 1956 are local landmarks.
