About Kilburn
Kilburn is a suburb in the inner north of Adelaide, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, South Australia. The area was originally subdivided as Chicago in the 1890s and was renamed Kilburn in 1930. It grew as a working-class industrial suburb, home to the Islington Railway Workshops and later a British Tube Mills factory, and today serves a multicultural community.
